Author and herbalist, Vanessa Chakour will take us on a virtual plant walk through the 24 plants featured in AWAKENING ARTEMIS, paying special attention to medicinal plants that grow in Brooklyn. She’ll read sections of the book as she shares photos of the plants and discusses their medicine, their role in our ecosystems, and how they have influenced her writing, teaching, and journey of healing.
